It’s important to pick a cap primarily based on the product’s characteristics and function. For caps capable of dispensing, we must consider the product’s viscosity and the size of the bottle’s opening. For acidic and corrosive materials it’s especially important to pick the right material for the cap.

In our range of products you can find flip-open, disc top, push pull, measuring, drip and rinse caps, in threaded and snap versions, products made from plastic or metal. For certain products it might be important to use a tear-off or child-proof cap.

It’s beneficial to keep an eye on current trends and make sure that the colour of the cap matches the colour and other parameters of the bottle.

It is also important to consider the technical parameters of the cap. Make sure you have the right size and type for the neck.

The main function of the cap is for proper closing and sealing. For normal, threaded caps this is done with the EPE seal found at the bottom of the cap.

For dispensing caps, the proper closing is done by an internal flange, which rests on the inside part or the top of the bottle’s neck.

Matching the size and the type of the bottle and its matching cap, does not give a 100% guarantee that the cap will properly close. A perfect closing can only be determined after thorough trials and testing.
